I build practical software, business systems and digital products that turn real-world problems into usable solutions.
About
I work across software development, business systems and IT management — usually on the whole build, from the data model through the interface to deployment and the support that follows.
Most of what I build starts as somebody's real problem: a school running admissions on paper, a shop tracking stock in a notebook, civic information that exists but nobody can reach. I care more about software that gets used than software that demos well.
What I do
Most work lands in one of these — often several at once on the same product.
Full-stack product work — data model, interface, deployment. React and Next.js on the front, Node and PHP behind it.
ERP and management platforms: inventory, admissions, billing, reporting. The unglamorous systems a business actually runs on.
Fast, accessible sites for institutes and businesses — from requirement gathering and UI design through to launch and support.
Running the technology side of an organisation: infrastructure, accounts, systems, and the people who depend on them.
Applied LLM workflows, prompt engineering and automation that removes repetitive work from real business processes.
Technical and editorial writing, product documentation, and the graphics that go with a product launch.
Featured work
Each of these started as a real problem. Here's what they are and what I did on them.
Live
An election information and citizen-accountability platform built to make public representatives, election data and civic information genuinely reachable.
In development
A school management platform that pulls admissions, academics and administration into one system instead of a stack of registers and spreadsheets.
In development
A business management platform for shops and small businesses — inventory, sales, purchasing, customers and reporting handled digitally.
Live
A professional website for NAME Education Butwal, an entrance-preparation institute — built end to end and still supported.
How I work
The same five stages every time, whether it's my own product or a client's.
Scope the actual problem before choosing a single tool.
Model the data and the flow, then design the interface around them.
Ship a working version on real hosting rather than a perfect one locally.
Check it against real use, real data and real devices.
Keep it running, and keep it changeable six months later.
Currently
Three products in active development, and one thing I keep pulling apart to learn.

Journal
Notes on building for the web — systems, tooling, and the occasional opinion about craft.
A short note on why this site exists, what it runs on, and the one rule I gave myself: no build step I can't explain.
Static, dynamic, or streamed? A practical way to decide, using the only question that actually matters.
Tell me the problem you're trying to solve and I'll tell you honestly whether I'm the right person to build it.
